| Elmesia is a vast land in which just about anyone or thing can make a living and thrive. From icy mountain tops to dry deserts, open plains and the thickest of forests every Nation has a bit of it all. Each country has its own unique laws and customs that govern the lifestyle of the people and thus adds a small challenge to your rp.

Governing Party: Princess AlyseSettled in the snow capped mountains of Bael-Tha lies the city of Vivayya the capital of Sylvilius. Running through the middle of Vivayya valley is a mountain river that sometimes floods during the warmer months due to the melting snow. The forest that dominates the mountain side is filled with both Ginnala and Taarian Maples, Russian Hawthorns, Ash trees and even a few European Aspen. Because of the nations location very few animals are hardy enough to live in its harsh conditions. Grizzly bear, wolves, and mountain lions are some of the larger predators of the region. Elk and Moose also occupy the land beside smaller mammals such as raccoons, bob cats, grey fox and even beaver. Birds such as eagles, hawks, and jay birds or even crows can be seen soaring on the warmer air currents. Among all the other animals snakes also manage to survive the cold condtions, the poisonous Majove green rattler or a simple gopher snake.
Vivayya as a city is quite large being the capital of the mountainous region. Located in the very center of the round-walled city is the Palace. Built like a hallow square the three story palace has four wings; each named after its compass location. Inside the square’s center is an open garden like area in which small ponds are located among the other fashionable ways to relax. The most notable feature within the palace is its outer fountain. Located in front of the grand stairs that lead to the palace’s front door is a 20x30 foot pond; in its center on a small grown over rock stands a statue of a dragon with its wings outstretched. At the Northern end of the city where the walls finally meet with the Bael-Tha mountains lies the Dragon Keep. Massive Barracks are built along the walls, its gate leading into the mountain Headquarters of the Order of Flame.

Locations
- Bael-vanna Gaurdian Forest that lies just outside of Virayya, the capital of Sylvilius. Settled within the Dalonini Mountains, Sylvilius is the northern most country within Elmesia.
- Bael-Tha Upon which the Bael-vanna resides is the mountains of Bael-Tha. Its meaning is simular to the forests as Bael means guardian. Tha speaks of the trail you must go through to reach the city, sort of like a vigil.
- Norre- itryn Sacred to History or the Sacred Tree of History. A massive tree that is located in a small clearing in the center of the Bael-vanna.
Cities & Towns
- Cheydinhal
Population: A medium-sized city, not too big, but not too small, either.
Terrain: Located in the deepest parts of the Northern Woods that lie near the foot of the mountains, Cheydinhal is a very average town that has been growing; quite a few trading enterprises have begun popping up in the town's edges.
Trade: Trades lumber, spices, weapons, iron ore, fodder, livestock.
Town Standing: Peaceful.
- Bruma
Population: Small
Terrain: Settled on the edge of the Outer Forests, Bruma lays just beside Sylvilius's boarder. Often the victum of out of state raids and highway men its seen a lot of disorder. One of the highest ranking towns in need of protection, Bruma is a criminals best bet in terms of hiding in the nation.
Trade: Fodder, Livestock, spices, copper

Adoption Procedures
So you want to rule, huh? Good because we currently have (3) spots open! Other political ranks may open up but as of now, only Kings/Queen positions are open. Selection is as follows:
- To apply for a Ruler’s position please fill out the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Once you have done so, do not submit it to the character’s submissions!
- Fill out the Country Form (below) and save it!
- Prepare a Coronation Role-Play example. This is where it really, really counts. What we need you to do is assume that your character has been granted the right to rule. You must then have your character go through with the coronation ceremony and then give us an example of how they rule. Do not be afraid to have a tyrant, they’re fun!!
- Be active! If you have less then 35 posts your application will be denied.
- It is possible to be "over thrown". If you apply and we we are not convinced that you will make a good ruler we may allow you to have a trial period. During this time you will assume position as ruler and may edit the forum. However if another member comes along and proves to be a better leader we will issue a Civil War in which the new player assumes command.

| Guardsmen and Jail
The one that didn't get away
It is possible to go to jail! Shake up your thieves and spend some jail time. Sure its fun to be the “amazing thief” that always gets away, why not rp out your character’s first time in the bin? Three (NPC) Guardsmen will be created that are free for use, give your character a connection to them and help to build up a history. All major cities such as the capitals have Imperial Guardsmen while smaller towns and villages may only have local guardsmen or even civilian guards. Severity of the punishment depends on the town in which your character is currently residing in; (Notable) Cities tend to have harsher terms.
