| Dark Brotherhood The Dark Brotherhood is a group dedicated to the Death Gods; Ashura and Aristos. Two fractions make up the Brotherhood, the Black Hand and Daedric Guardians. Each of the fractions follow one of the two Patron Gods; the Hand to Aristos and the Guardians to Ashura. Heavily influenced by their Masters, both the Hand and the Guardians live only to serve their Masters. Every member of the Dark Brotherhood, no matter what faction, either follows Ashura or Aristos. There are some known Hands who follow Ashura rather then Aristos as well as some Guardians that follow the younger brother rather then Ashura.
The Black Hand is made up of deadly assassins; their deadly skill known world wide. Because of the strict way of life not every man or woman can be initiated into the ranks of the Hand. Daedric Guardians on the other hand are more open to newcomers but are just as strict. Every man and woman must be nothing but dedicated to one of the Death Gods; if a member is found to be disloyal, execution is carried out by a member of the Black Hand, usually a Silencer.
The Black Hand
The Black Hand is the assassin side of the Dark Brotherhood. There are strict rules associated with their ranks, which go as follow:
